A desktop, with room to think

Keeping the strange little desktop. Making more room for the things that happen inside it.

A personal website can be both a place to play and a place to read. That is the idea behind this version of OS_MAN.

The tiling windows, terminal, and red palette stay. The giant terminal at the front door makes room for an introduction, a journal, and somewhere to say hello.

A window is a starting point

An article should work wherever you find it. Open it inside the desktop, expand the window, or follow its own link for a quieter reading experience. On a phone, the windows stack naturally instead of dividing the screen into tiny rectangles.

Keep the personality. Remove the obstacles.

What belongs here?

  • Notes from a project that is still taking shape.
  • A question about AI or something scientific.
  • An experiment that did not lead anywhere obvious.
  • Something ordinary from life.

There is no requirement for every entry to become an essay. A few paragraphs can be enough.

Still a work in progress

This is sample content for the new journal. Replace it with your own first entry when you are ready. The desktop is the container; what you put in it is the interesting part.
